Candelario is a typical mountain village situated in the Sierra de Béjar to 75 kilometers from the city of Salamanca.

It's resting place for hikers and travelers, as well as enjoy a wide range of routes, a unique landscape, typical of the Sierra de Gredos, can walk the steep streets that slope down and get lost among the intricate corners that buildings where people are still surprised by the "batipuertas" or doors to cover the horizontal part of the harsh winter homes. The town is a historic art since 1975.
